Saturday Holiday LPO Chistmas Concert

Spring/Fall 2009 School Informances.jpg) The Slidell Symphony Society will present twenty informances designed to "turn on" young students to classical music. These are presented in the St. Tammany elementary, middle and high schools.
Spring 2009 Lollipop Concerts Three free concerts are presented by the St. Tammany Parish School Talented Music Program. These concerts are specifically designed for preschoolers, to capture their interest and instill an early appreciation of classical music.
Spring 2009 Fourth Grade Concert The Youth/Community Orchestra presents this free concert for fourth graders in the Slidell City Auditorium. Each year this program exposes students to the concepts and instruments of the orchestra.

LPO Event - Spring Concert.jpg) The LPO performs two concerts that are developed by the conductor especially for students which is held at the Slidell High Theater. Attendance is open to St. Tammany schools, grades 1 - 12, and admission is free. Teaching materials about the concert are supplied to the classroom for an optimal learning experience.
